tinymce, unfortunately, keeps all hidden formatting when copying and pasting... a lot of folks paste in code and add a lot of undesired formatting... we have tried to flag posts that contain this hidden formatting when the post is saved, but obviously cant detect all because some is very valid...

glad you figured it out!

For awhile now i've been bugged silly by tring to figure out why inside my posts in the links it would add a bunch of mhtml: code before the href, for example like this link:

http://wf.taversia.net

...

When in BBCode mode it wouldnt be there, however tinyMCE it will.

Quick and easy, this is a cut and paste from windows mail into the tinymce editor window. TinyMCE isn't stripping out the external information in the href from the windows mail client.

So all that mhtml:{98B9AD2E-9703-4B86-890C-972123DED479}mid://00000101/!x-usc: extra info was made by the cutting and pasting into the tinymce editor.

Freaky huh?
