Hi,
I have a little problem forum header. My forum header changes the menu name. I have created custom page on my theme forlder for it:
<?php
/*
Template Name: Forum
*/
?>
<?php get_header(); ?>
<?php the_content(); ?>
<?php get_footer(); ?>
and all forum header, topic names are changes menu "Forum" name.
I want to know is there any code that i can exclude forum page header with forum menu name? I don`t want to disable forum page names, as this is bad for SEO. Also my url on my profile
Thanks.
This, sadly, is an old and long ignored bug in WordPress. Your options are to remove the page header or exclude the forum page from the pages menu and add a link manually.
Alternatively, we have managed to put a work around in place in version 4.2 currently at RC1 and hopefully released in about a weeks time.
it depends on what page you have the set to display. assuming you kept the defaults, it will http://yoursite.com/forum.. but you can change it to what you want by changing the page slug of the wp page you have the forum to appear on..
