searched here and couldn't find anything on it. after my user signs up (through wp process). i use "sidebar login" plugin and have the redirected to my forum main page after log in. but the user get's shown the simple forum user profile edit page. how do i make them see the normal forum main page? your help is appreciated.

Well I can give you a code hack if you want it.
This was once a much requested feature as most forum admins want to encourage their users to change their WP generated password for something a little more personal and memorable.
Having said that, this behaviour will become an option in V4.1

Just change that true to false.
