How do I load the forums outside Wordpress? As I'm using a customized layout, clicking "View my forum" does not work. Please consider replying quickly.

outside of wordpress? the forum is a plugin for wordpress and as such must be part of a wordpress install.

if you mean a custom styled page within wordpress, you need create a wp custom page template (http://codex.wordpress.org/Pag….._Templates)

I suck at explaining, don't I. What I mean is I have a style, but when I try to get the forum page using <? the_content(); ?>, nothing happens. What command, inside wordpress, triggers it?

the_content() does…

you also need to make sure you have call to wp_head() in the tags…
