I guess the forst two questions should be (a) what will be at /member/username? is this your own page or some other plugin? And (b) how are your php skills?

Hi and thank you for your friendly reply

So  members is no page and no other plugin

So I only want, that I can show my profile-pages in a kind like the buddy press format.

like /members/name-of-the-usere-thats-profile-is-actually-shown

I hope, you understand what I mean (or would it be perhaps possible to use the buddy press user profile, because this is an option in control panel)

Further I would say I try my best on php :)

You have two or three choices really. You can hack the SP profile code which will require a new rewrite rule and code behind the current profile button to direct to your preferred page which will also, of course, involve identifying the users etc.

You could hack the code to remove the current profile button and then define a custom icon but that would still require some of the above.

Or maybe you could shoehorn into one of the current options to see if you can get that to work.

You could also, of course, just set permissions so that the forum profile is unavailable to your users and do your own thing on a sidebar or something.

Whatever you chose to do you are going to need to write quite a bit of coding and database queries.

Many thanks…where are the rewrite rules defined and further my problem is, how to set up this profile page

I tried a little bit and in this way:

http://mydomain.com/index.php?…..e&u=3

its possible to call up the profile page.

So but I this gots no header an footer and no title and further I would need search enigne friendly links

I think I have a fat problem here.

Could you write this for us if I would pay this ?

To come on the point I would need the whole user-interface (profiles, messaging…) on the base of my domain

http://mydomain.com/members/na…..the-member

And only the forum under

I am afraid neither Steve nor I are able to take on paid work – just not enough time.
There us a customisation request forum here you could try but I don't know who stops by and if things get picked up there.

Oh – and the rewrite rules are in the file sf-loader-global.php…
