Hi!

when I post I cannot use the "link button", I select the text and the small window opens, but totally empty, nothing inside…

wp version 2.9.1

simple:Press Forum Version: 4.1.3 (Build: 2510 / Release)

I have tried with mozilla and explorer, but no way, and I can add links in this forum with no problems… so I guess it is an internal problem in my forum.

any idea?

thanks a lot and best regards.

I see your site is in Spanish, do you have all the language files installed for the tinyMCE editor?

You also haven't given tinyMCE enough space to fit on your page, you need to either cut down on the buttons on the editor or make the forum wider.

Hi again,

Luffer, I do not see any javascript error, not in IE not in mozilla, I do not know if there is any different way of checking it… but it seems it is working properly.

About the languages for the Tiny mce editor, I don´t really know… in the WP editor I can link in the same "small window" that is used in the forum, it is correctly translated and working… but for the forum it is empty… and I guess that the translation is correct for the forum, all the forum is in correct spanish excepting some help files, which is not really a problem…

I have already changed the toolbar, I apreciate your help!!

Mr Papa, yes, all the config->storage location was green colored…

Thanks a lot for your help Luffer and Mr Papa,

so… until I find a solutions I will use code for the links :D

Ok,

I see, the tiny mce language for the forum… it seems to be correct… in plugins->simpleforum->editors->tinymce->langs->es.js

the translation is correct, I have cross checked it with the original file and it is the same… except for the translated words, of course :D

I just had a look at your forum for errors. When I click on the Link button I get the following error:

tinyMCEPopup is not defined

link.js()

tinyMCEPopup.requireLangPack();

Unfortunatly I don't know what this means, perhaps Steve will be able to shed more light. The only thing I can suggest is you check all the files were copied across when you installed the plugin. Perhaps you have a coflict with another plugin, try disabling them all and see if that helps solves it.

Yes – I would suggest re-ploading the files – even if only the editors/tinymce foder. You may well have something missing there.
And do not use FileZilla…!
