YS thanks for that – I guess I'll just have to change manually the connection link of WP…now, the quest is gonna be, where do I find that link syntax! Cheers again, you guys are doing a great work here, I wish you all the success you deserve!

Well, after looking into it, both 'registration' – forum and blog – lead to the following link:
http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..view=forum
Logical for the forum but why does the blog redirect to a forum registration link, and more importantly what can I do to fix it?
To recap:
The wordpress directory is named 'forum-pilates'
The home page of wordpress is 'accueil forum'. The title of the page is 'forum'. Its permalink is:
http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..um-pilates
The blog is a page located at
http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..lates/blog
Now, I couldn't find what the default WP registration link is, and in which file I can manually change it.
At present, anyone wanting to register for the blog is, because ot the issue described, redirected to the forum registration. So, if you could help me with that, that'd be much appreciated!
Didn't we cover this above? The fact that the forum url is the same as your root url?
And the code with the Wp registration in is in the top lick you posted above – that is the path of the file wp-login.php

Thanks YS – I guess I'm being a bit dense about this…
I have access of the FTP and can change the name of the WP subdir – the
folder called at the moment 'forum-pilates', in which all the WP files
are. Just to make sure I'm clear, the structure is root/forum-pilates.
Basically, what I want is people to arrive to http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..um-pilates when they want to go to the forum, and to arrive ideally to http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..t.com/blog when they want to go to the blog.
Then obviously I want them to be able to register to the blog with out the forum registration link to take over…
If you could tell me how I could achieve that I would be most grateful!
As I have said – I think you need to change the name/slug of the forum which you can do at any time by editing the page.
I could be wrong but that seems to me a direct conflict.

That's what I don't get: the page is not named forum-pilates!
- in WP admin:
> 'Edit page' > cusomt fields: forum page is titled 'forum' / the slug is 'forum' (not 'forum-pilates')
> 'Settings' > 'Reading' > 'Front page displays' radio button selected on 'Static page', with 'front page' dropdown selected to 'accueil forum' (the name I gave to the forum page on the top field, just under the 'Edit page' at the top of the WP admin > 'Edit page' section
- in the WP admin > SPF admin > WP integration > 'Select the WP Page to be used to display your forum:' is set to the page 'forum' with permlink set to 'http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..'
On the front end (http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..um-pilates) the register link of the forum is set to:
http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..view=forum
which redirects to:
http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..rum/policy
All good so far.
But on the front end of the blog page (http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..lates/blog), the register link of the blog is set to:
http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..n=register (WITHOUT the &view=forum at the end)
but this still redirects to:
http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..rum/policy
And obviously this is the problem. Before I installed the forum the blog registration link was working fine so somehow the forum registration has overwritten the blog registration – the blog registration link shouldn't redirect to the /forum/policy page. This is where I am so far.
The 'login' link on the blog page works fine and links to:
http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..-login.php
It is important that people who visit the forum land to http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..um-pilates instead of http://www.pilates-sur-equipem…..um-pilates for SEO reasons and also on a logical standpoint for the visitors. With this information, if you could tell me what I can do to stop the forum to overwrite the blog registration link, that would be grand. Thanks again for your help!
Clearly misunderstood – sorry.
Well if you have the registration directing first to the policy then it will always direct to the policy. There is no difference between registering for your blog and registering for the forum – they are one and the same thing.

No sweat YS – I unticked the 'Show Login/Logout Link' option in: SPF > elements > Login and Registration and this sorted the problem but… is there not any way round this at all?
It makes sense to make the viewing and acceptation of forum T&C compulsory when registering for the forum for ethical and legal staandpoints, but people wanting to register for the blog will wonder why they have to sign something not related to what they want to register for. Any hack?
