Removing "Join the forum discussion on this post" from excerpts?

I want to keep the referral link tied to the end of the full posts as they currently are, but I do not want it tacked onto my custom excerpts. I've searched Google, here back ten or so pages, and reviewed all of the forum options but have yet to see how I can go about doing this. Could someone please tell me what page is tacking that on so that I can remove it? I appreciate any and all help.

But no excerpt option for this as such.

If this is a normal use of the tag the_excerpt() then it can be removed by looking in sf-hooks.php, finding the blog linking section and commenting out the one for the_excerpt.
