I am new to Simple:Press and need to be able to change the word "Forums" in the group view (http://wiki.simplepressforum.c…..roup-view/) to something else.  Is this possible and where is the source?  Any help would be appreciated.

Are you referring to the page slug that appears in the url and breadcrumbs? You can change that to whatever you want.

Go to WP Admin > Edit Pages and locate the forum page that was created at install and click on Quick Edit. Here you can change the name of the page itself (title) and/or the slug (used in the urls).

if you make changes you need to update SPF. For 4.1.x go to Admin > Forum > Options > Global and edit the page slug field then Toolbox > Toolbox and update the forum permalink. For 4.2 go to the Forum menu and select WP Integration and just select the new page and save.

Andy, thanks for your quick response, however, I was not referring to the page slug… when looking at the main page of a Simple:Press install, the forums have the headings: Forums, Last Post, Topics, Posts.  Is it possible to change the the word "Forums" in this part of the site to something else?

Ah – you want:
simple-forum/forum/sf-group-components.php
function: sf_render_group_column_header_row()

only by editing the code itself… in a future version, we plan to add a UI for changing forward facing text strings…

well, where is the text?  is that the button when viewing the forum (sf-forum-components.php and sf-page-components.php) or the button on the submit button when adding a new topic (sf-f0rm-topic.php)…

It's the button when viewing the forum, however when I edit the code(sf-forum-components.php and sf-page-components.php), the text disapears… the image stays… any ideas?
