Hello coders of Simple Press!
I have installed your forum on a website and I ran in to some problems. When I let someone register as a test, they missed a: "Thank you for registering, check your e-mail for your password message."
I have looked around on the website and some files to see if I can enable that somewhere or "hack" it in myself but could not find it. Any tips from you guys?
Also, I dislike the option that the breadcrumbs are displayed in my template menu. I only have an option to turn them off completely. I updated to the 4.3.2, wich almost fixes it. I see the page title in my menu, but in the themes breadcrumbs theres "name of the website > " " I'd like forum to be there as well. Is this something within the theme (My guess is it is) or is it a simplepress thing?
Thanks in advance for the help!
You know I hadn't noiced that message wasn't there and to be honest I have no idea why. This is the WP registration form and the text should be there. We are not turning it off in any way. All I can do is open a ticket on it and I will investigate the reason and correct it.
I am not sure what you are referring to in the second question. What breadcrumbs do you mean? The forum breadcrumbs? Or do you have some other plugin or theme component doing that as well? How about a link to your site so I can see whatever it is…?
haha good to see its not something in my side than ^-^ I'll check out the page as well if you could say wich page. I came as far as seeing I needed to find that form, but I couldnt find it ;)
The second problem is displayed here:

Im talking about the page title in your browser, the menu title, and the page title who all display: Test| Regels | Forum
Instead of just Forum. I believe this is just a "faulty" option on my behalf but I couldnt find it.
Page? Again not sure what you mean by page. the registration form logic is in the wp-login.php file.
have you looked at the components > SEO options where this can be set up. But – those breadcrumbs you have in the theme above the forum – not sure about those. Do you have any control over them. They are displaying the 'massaged' page title as opposed to the actual page title.
sorry about my vagueness. I was also talking about the forum registration instead of the wordpress one. Or is the forum registration using the WP-Function?
Where can I find the forum registration page? Im also not seeing a thanks for registering notice when I register trough the forum.
What .php page is the registration page? If I know wich one it is, I can just put some text above the registration form saying users need to check there e-mail for the password.
I'll have a look at the SEO components. Well, the weird thing is that the other pages display the actual page title instead of the breadcrumbs.
EDIT:
The breadcrumbs in the menu bar have been fixed by going to the SEO screen. How could I have missed that… Thanks a bunch for fixing that problem.

Yes – it does – same form, same code.

wp-login.php in th root of the WP installation.

As I tried to explain, the title of the page is 'massaged' in line with your settings. So if anything (like your own breadcrumbs) uses the tag 'the_title()' then it will reflect that.
