Why do the posts 'ascend' in a thread?

I thought someone may have already asked this question, searches come up blank.. but when I'm on a forum, logic tells me the later post in a thread will appear further down the page than the earlier post. And that's what I've come to find 'normal'.

But Simple:Press runs the thread in the opposite direction. And that's groovy. It just doesn't make sense to me or my intended social sphere.

Is there a simple way to reverse this behaviour? I'm useless with code when it comes to other peoples' creations.

Thank you

no, spf lets you choose that option…

check forum – options – topic settings for topic sort order and check forum – options – post settings for post order…  either can be newest to oldest or oldest to newest…

Oh sweet Jesus… sorry… I'm dying of stress over here.

Thanks. My Simple:Press forum is perfect now!
