BuddyPress has an activity feed for all users on the site.
When the user does soemthing it goes into their feed and where ever that feed is displayed

It would be nice to have users posts in the forum fed into this activity feed as well.

Not sure what's all involved but would be cool to see this happen and would definately increase the use of Simple:Press by BuddyPress users.

If you "knew how to feed" this activity guy, you could already do it with the spf hooks template… do they have an api you can call? just call it from post hook..

this is an issue I'm already working on, BuddyPress has this interoperability with BBPress. Unfortunately BuddyPress' documentation on the interface is nonexistant.

It does indeed work, but when you hit the view button on the activity in BuddyPress it doesn't take you to the forum post and the time is 2 hours off. But it's a great start. I'll ask around in the BuddyPress forums about this and report back.

Is the 2 hours difference just your timezone setting not being catered for?
And if there is no link then I assume it has not been set in the code.
