This would be the one IDEAL feature for me.  Everything else is perfect and I can use the RSS feed to post to Facebook but have no way to post to twitter.

Something like twitterstream that just lets you check a box and the post goes to your twitter acct would be perfect!

Thanks.. I will need to do some studying on what "hooks" are and figure out where exactly to put this code but it looks simple enough!  Much appreciated.

Okay.. looked over the code.. Im NOT an internet newbie but this is the first time I have ever heard of the term "hooks".. and after looking over the thread I can't even find where to change the username in the code.. it's supposed to be after the "via" but Im not even seeing that section in the code.. plus I have no idea where I am supposed to place the code.

I truly don't mean to be an idiot but I do need some help on this.  Please.. .

first, this wiki page tells you a bit about program hooks and how to get them started…

http://wiki.simple-press.com/p…..-of-hooks/

then you have to find the hook (each hook tells you where the stuff is used or displayed)…

In the post I lnked too, I suggested which hook to use and gave the entire hook code…  find that hook function in your hooks file andreplace it (the entire function) with my code…

as the post following mine in the linked post details, you have to update the username with your twitter username… that is:

data-via="SimpleForum"

in that code (line 4 of the code segment in that link), replace SimpleForum with your twitter username…

Give that a try and come on back if you still have issues…
