A Suspect Request has been Rejected Error

Hello, I am running the latest version of SPF and apparently have permissions set incorrectly.  When the forum is activated and I go to upload an image within a blog post, I receive the following error:

A Suspect Request has been Rejected

When I deactive the forum, I am able to upload the image.

Any suggestions?

My site is a members-only site but will be more than happy to provide an admin full access to check it out. http://BusinessAndLearning.com

Thanks so much!

I am working on this website too. We have WP V 2.8.4 and fresh install of Simple:Press Forum V 4.1.0. Everything works fine except the following:

When trying to Add an image to any post or page, by clicking on any Upload/Insert icons (Any of them…Add Image, Add Video, Add Audio, Add Media) the window pops open like normal, but we see the following error: A Suspect Request has been Rejected Error.

There is no way to add new media in post/pages.

But we can click on an image already in a post and we are able to edit them.

In addition, when going to the Media Library and clicking on "Add New" we are able to upload there.

This happened after activating and installing the forum. If we disable the forum, then we can Add media just fine in any post/page via the admin section.

Please advise on any solution. We would really like to utilize your forum plug-in.

Thanks

so this is the same error? and it occurs when you are trying to add image to a wp post in the blog – not in the forum. so only from the wp post/page editor?

that is our security message, but odd that its occurring in that location.

Yes, it only occurs in the wp post/page editor. Not in the forum.

Any ideas?

oh wait, this is 4.1.0?  you dont have the latest 4.1.1?  if not, my comment would be null and void…

most odd – no reports of that with thousands and thousands of downloads on 4.1.0…  also confused as to why you would see that there.  but researching…

Hey Mr. Papa,  that was my mistake, I thought we were running the latest version of SPF.  So, would it be beneficial to upgrade to 4.1.1?  Our WP version is 2.8.4.  There does appear to be some sort of conflict as, like we said earlier, we are having to disable the forum to upload images within our blog post, and then reactive the forum.

We're looking forward to what your research reveals. :)

Thanks for all your help!

yes, please upgrade to 4.1.1… I do remember something similar from versions back (you might search if interested) now that we have you on an older version.

I think you will like 4.1.1 better anyways. wink

after the upgrade let us know if its resolved (should be).

Thanks for your response. We do already have the current version.

I check the toolbox and it says we have Version 4.1.1 Build: 2500. Your system is up to date. We just installed yesterday after downloading SPF-V411-COMPLETE.zip from http://simple-press.com/download/.

When I go to our Manage Plugins, it says: Version 4.1.0 (Full featured but simple page-based forum). So that is where the version confusion was. We still have the same issue.
