I just upgraded from 4.0.4 to 4.1 and the installation was successful… However when I try to go and view the forum on my page there is nothing there. It is just a blank page without any content… Am I suppose to insert a shortcode or something? The forum menu is in the CACommunity tab.

no, nothing special needed. looking at our page, there is not page content being output. assume you didnt change anything else? same theme?

Please check the forum – options – global tab and make sure the page slug is still correct.

anything look wrong (ie red marks) on the forum – configuration – storage locations panel?

a bit perplexed here. hate to ask a stupid question, but you did upload and then hit upgrade? and the previous version was completely deleted before uploading the new version?

any chance you could try reuploading the 4.1 version and see what happens?

What I did to upgrade was as follows

1) Deactivated the old version
2) Deleted the files via the admin board
3) double check using FTP that the "simple-login" folder was gone
4) re-uploaded 4.1 to the server using FTP
5) activated the plugin
6) went to the forum side tab and pressed upgrade

I could try removing it complete or w/e and start fresh? But i would hate to do that cause then I would have to remake all the sections. But if that is the only way I guess I would have no choice…

What do you mean by re-uploading? just replace the files? would that mess anything up?

yes, just replace the files. that will NOT affect any db data such as groups, forums, topics, posts ,etc…

I would NOT completely remove the forum (ie uninstall from the admin)
