All Feeds for all forums are without title in the single feed articles. Can be seen here: http://www.dealdoktor.de/schna…..?xfeed=all
When you subscribe to that feed, there is no title on the single articles (Title unknown) – any idea why that is?

not off the top of my head… but worth noting you are running a very old version (and it has a security hole)…
any chance you would want to upgrade to the most recent version? I dont have that old of a version currently available on a test site…

I really do wanna upgrade. I have a little bit of custom code, that's why I wanted to wait for Wordpress 3 and Simple:Press 4.3.
But I guess that's the best fix then. Thanks for clarification
OnlineI think it should be noted that this was not a problem ever raised when 4.1 was the current build and certainly my old 4.1 test system does not have this issue.
You must have been using this version for quite a long time so has this problem only recently surfaced? If it has then it would be worth reviewing what other changes have been made to the site – updated or new plugins etc…

Thx for replying. I have actually not checked the feed myself before. The installation is online since December 2009.
I will upgrade to the new version soon and check if the problem still occurs. Then I will check for plugins that might cause this problem, as I do have a lot. I will come back for further help then, if needed ;)

Hey there again,
so I updated the forum, but the problem with the untitled feed topics still exists. I have a lot of plugins and dont know where to start.
Any advice from your side, which kind of plugins might cause this kind of failure?
Would be really apprciated, thanks for helping out!
I really have no idea to be honest athough I would start by looking to see if any directly alter feeds or titles – but that, of course, is pretty obvious.

Hey all,
well, I do not have such kinds of plugins, I will go on testing, but have not really a clue. This is what I found:

Line 3 is empty – this is where the title should be. Does anyone have an idea, why there is no title? Which file/code in simple press produces the feeds, I would like to have a look inside and maybe update the file.
While I updated to the current version I did not delete the previous one, but have overwritten the old install. Maybe that is why the bug still exists?

Alright gyus, I found the root of all evil.
I use a plugin (I actually pay for it) which is called wpSEO. As u guess, it's a SEO plugin. It rewrites titles, but I though, Simplepress might work with it. Well, it doesnt. When the first option in its settings (reqwrite titles) is set, the feed does not work
So now it's up to you: Will simplepress ever work with this plugin? I know it works with all in one seo, so how can I fix this title rewrite problem?
