here is what my logs are saying:

Permission denied: …./plugins/simple-forum/.htaccess pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file, ensure its readable,…. referer: http:/…../sf-loader-install.php

so I created that .htaccess file, gave the right permissions and the upgrade went smooth from there :-)

I noticed, that after the upgrade the .htaccess file contained something like: Options – Indexes and my error log tells me Options not allowed here.

Deleted the content of this file, then I could upgrade to 4.1.1 with the Options -Indexes in there that would not work.

Hello, until yesterday with version 4.1.0 everything worked great onWP 2.8.4.

Suddenly the forum doesn't appear, I read that a new version released so followed the the instructions for the upgrade and now I'm stucked at the same point of "ovizii".

I pressed on "Perform Upgrade", I receive "0" and nothing else.

Any help will be appreciated.

I'm new using this plugin.

what does until yesterday mean? something must have changed? wp update, plugin update, theme update etc… might be obe since you have upgraded but…

currently, we have no idea as to the ahah:0 three people are seeing. we cant replicate and even fathom a reason… still working…

It's quite funny I know!

Until yesterday, cause yesterday evening everything worked great, this morning the forum disappered.

So I tried to install the new version and I had the "0" problem.

yes not the same thing. And MU is the multi-blog platform – like the one wordpress.com uses. Both of the other guys in this thread use MU. So it is looking likely that the AHAH 0 message might just be MU specific…
