Ah… it is MU. This should realy be in the MU forum.

I know very little about MU so we need Radio to answer this but… I DO know that registrations are different for MU. Did you read the READ ME file? That has notes in it about MU and registrations…

[NOTE: I will move this to the MU forum after youy reply]

Hello everyone

Just had the same question – helped me to read the readme the! :-o Written there a possible solution:

To enable registrations and other related options, the Site Admin must edit the blog options from the Site Admin -> Blogs menu, by clicking EDIT for the blog being enabled and changing the value of the option 'Users May Register' to 1.

Cheers… Lars

Thanks for that!

Now if only I could figure out a query to make all of my 725+ imported wp users subscribers to the primary wpmu blog so they automatically become forum members. Editing them all manually is quite tedious. Confused Radio!?!?!

Thanks for the reassurance. Upon my first tests, the imported users did not become subscribers of the primary blog after visiting the forums. But yes, they were recognized as members and able to post.

Still testing on our development domain before making the actual migration. We shall see …

not sure we can do anything about making them subscribers of the blog itself, but they will be recognized members of the forum, as you indicate…

Thanks, I know this is not an SPF issue. I've just been searching the MU forums for help on this and thought I'd ping Radio.
