can't add member to user group with BuddyPress active

I am using SPF on a site with BuddyPress and WishList Member.

When I try to add a member to a SPF user group I get a "Member Add Failed" message.

I can add the member ONLY if I disable BuddyPress.

Thanks.

is there any more info you can provide?  I cannot duplicate…

maybe on forum – wp integration – page and permalink, can you try to disable loading of js in the footer?

I turned off the footer Javascript but the adding of members still fails– unless I deactivate BuddyPress.

On a related note — when BuddyPress is active clicking on the blue forum links doesn't work — in order to access a forum menu category (Forums, Options, Components, etc.) I have to click in the WP menu area in the left column. Once the SPF menu category has been selected in the lkeft column then I can click on the sub-menu item (Components > Editor) in the SPF column.

That said – the only exception to this is that I have to deactivate BuddyPress in order to access "wp integration – page and permalink".

most odd…  have you tried disabling any other plugins?  we had similar behaviour once from GD something or other plugin…

and everything on the front end works just fine?

and I just noticed my bp is older… so need to get the latest and try… but might be the weekend before I have a chance…

we have made buddypress integration a priority for v5.0 too…

I just setup a completely new WP site – then installed SPF and successfully clicked on the Forum blue menu items.

Unfortunately when I installed BuddyPress I could no longer click on the Forum blue menu items.

There are no plugins besides SPF and BuddyPress activated.

SPF 4.3.3

WP 3.0.1

BP 1.2.5.2

Thanks.

Mr Papa,

It would be greatly appreciated if you could tackle this issue ASAP. Thanks. J:LCool
