Problems with images

Still can't use images in posts.
Able to upload them. They appear. But they either appear way too big or too small. But can't alter size (like i could before upgrade to 4.2).
Also, there is a big gap between the image and the rest of text in post (this didn't occur before upgrade to 4.2).
These prob.s both occured after upgrading to 4.2 (haven't added any plugins or done anything else to Forum since upgrading).
Tried as much as i can do resolve. Not able to. Would be grateful if anyone has any suggestions at all. Thanks.
