Hello all,
Today I have upgraded to 2.8.2 version of WordPress. After the upgrade users can not post messages.
In previous 2.8.1 version of WordPress all was OK.
Vesrion used 4.0.4

by post messages, you mean new topics or replies in the forum?
We are running 2.8.2 here and have just confirmed on two of my live 2.8.2 sites with 4.0.4 that new topics and replies are possible.
What happens when they try to post? errors? did you upgrade other plugins when you upgraded WP?

Sorry for this post. I do not known what is happen, but just now I have success with posting and replaying.
In my previous situation the case was if I try to replay – the red box at top appear telling me that the (could not remember the message) post could not be saved.

The problem still persist and to be a honest some time all is ok some time not.
Here more information if this can help.
When I try to replay to a message where the user has marker Subscribe to this topic,
after writing the message and entering a sum the following message appear:
"No Topic Post has been entered! Post can not be saved"

so, the only upgraded was wp to 2.8.2? nothing else changed or upgraded? no caching plugins running? which browser (hopefully not FF 3.5 until they release 3.5.1 any day now with a fixed up js engine)?

After this upgrade I upgrade only the theme and nothing more.
I have try on messages which are not marked as Subscribe – The same result.
The browser ver 3.0.11 on Windows XP.
After this I close the FF and try with Safari – All was OK.

P.S. Sorry for Edit Safari 4.0 on Windows XP
must say, I am at a bit of a loss here… we have no other reports of such behavioiur and I cannot duplicate it on my test sites…
I am left thinking its still a plugin conflict, perhaps one that is not wp 2.8.2 compatible…
have you tried disabling all your plugins just to see if it begins working? If that works, then re-enable them one by one until it breaks. be sure to clear your browser cache each step.

Thank you very much for your excellent support.
I can confirm that the problem seems to be in FireFox. Today the same case.
I have experiment with any other browser – IE, Chrome and Safari and all is OK.
I think that this is maybe related with the new update of FireBug, which I do the same day when I upgrade to wordpress 2.8.2. I will experiment tomorrow without FireBug.
