sorry, did you ever answer the mod_security question? it has been known to block the query params and redirect to the front page…

Sorry, yes, mod_security is enabled.

I just got through the major hurdles of our migration to wpmu and am happy to announce that the search function is operating as it should. For some reason it did not work on the test install at our .net domain (same server). But so far so good at tripawds.com!

good to hear. seems the mod_security thing is hit or miss as it doesnt affect all but those with an issue have had it fixed by disabling..
