Just installed your plugin, looks great, although from the screenshots since it isnt working with me yet…
I have a 403 Forbidden error, all the time I try to access the forum. When i go to the options of the adminpanel everything looks ok,

You are into murky server responses here. 403 officially means that the server is not allowed to return the 'document' and isn't going to tell you why!
One reason that can cause this. Do you have a subfolder named 'forum' under WP? if you do you need to remove or rename it.
