I just did a new wordpress install and a new beta 4.2 install and I have a couple questions. My avatar size is set to the default of 10240 and I can not save an edit to that. I would like to change the upload avatar size to something more along the lines of 20240 but when I type that in the Maximum Avatar Upload File Size (bytes): field and click the update avatar options button the change doesn't stick it just reverts back to 10240.

Question 2 on the main menu of my theme, after installing simplepress, I get the Forum page added as a main button in my main menu. Thats great but when I click in the profile area of my forum the word "Forum" changes to "Manage Members Profile | Forum" this screws up a lot of things. I don't have that much space to allow taht long of a main menu topic. Is this a feature somewhere I can click off?

its really a wp bug on the menu titles… praying they finally fix it in 3.0 since they are completely redoing that…

but yes, you can turn it off on forum – options – global display setings… the Display Forum/Topic in Page Title option…

interesting on the avatar size… indeed looks like a bug… let me see whats up there… ticket raised… will post the fix or link to changeset when we solve it..

okay, heres a fix for you… will be in beta 2, but the changes are in simple-forum/admin/panel-profiles/support/sfa-profiles-save.php line 158 find this code

$sfavatars['sfavatarsize'] = sf_esc_int($_POST['sfavatarsize']);

and add this line right after it

$sfavatars['sfavatarfilesize'] = sf_esc_int($_POST['sfavatarfilesize']);

should fix it up for you…  looks like we forgot to grab the actual posted data…
