You almost certainly have javascript problems, probably caused by something being loaded incorrectly.
Try turning off loading javascript in the forum footer (on the WP Integration forum admin panel)

This happened to me too when I just upgraded.  Doing what  you suggested fixed the problem but do you have any idea what would have caused it?

not particularily…  moving js to the footer can make pages appear to load faster, but because of dependencies, not all js can move…  which is why its an option..

I'm having similar issues. Nothing happens when cliicking on the add topic button.

Can't find the "Try turning off loading javascript in the forum footer (on the WP Integration forum admin panel)." WP Integration only has page and permalink. No info about forum footer.

I appear to be lost.

huh?  on the page and permlink panel is a check for 'Load JavaScript in Footer'… you should try unchecking that option..

What should I do? Will upgrading to Simple:Press version 4.2.3 help to solve the Add Topic links not working?

Thanks in advance.

You need to check for javascript errors. See the FAQ above and read the opening text – you can make the checks pretty simply and we can try and identify the cause.

Thanks… I am going to check for JS errors.

If found a conflict with a plug-in that has solved the "New Topic" from functioning properly.

So I think I'm good for now. I did upgrade to the latest version of 4.2.

Thanks as always for your prompt and great support for this great product.Laugh
