It is intermittent… i.e. on some topics and not others… and, also, two days ago, I could view this topic fine and now I can't. I've tried the wp-config fix. I checked the theme for the appropriate hooks. Hooks are in place and wp-config fix doesn't work. Anything else you can think of or that I missed in my search?
I can't post the html for that page, because it contains too many links.

not sure what that link is to… an image? didnt get screencast…
so is the whole page blank? or just the content part of the forum?
when you say you tried the config fix, do you mean the backtrack stuff? if so, did you add more than one zero? some folks have had to put four or five in to counter this wp issue…
Visit The link should be to an image of the forum topic page which shows what the issue looks like. The content part of the forum is blank. It has the topic title and nothing below. I do mean the trackback stuff… and I added like 10 zeros into it and no dice. So, not sure. And, like I mentioned, it seems to only happen when logged in as an admin.
Maybe, I should mention, too… we have 6612 posts in the forum. Not sure if there's any issues with lots of posts… not even sure if you guys would consider that lots of posts, really… but, maybe plays a part.
Also, seems like when I'm logged in as admin now… I can barely view anything anymore without get that blank content area. So, it's becoming less and less "intermittent"…
oh wait, you are on an old version… we had an issue like this back in 4.2, but long since solved (at least no longer reported) in 4.3…
any chance you can upgrade to the latest version?
and 6600 posts is rather small compared to some sites… we have ~45000… and some of our users are in the neighborhood… one site has 200,000 users! 
I'd love to upgrade, but 4.3 requires WP 3.0… and we're not at that point, yet. Any chance you could tell how you fixed it and I can re-code our version?
