I see that the RSS is working properly on simple-press site.

Is there a setting to change the title to the title itself?

Could it be due to SEO plugins that rewrite the title?

I suspect your hunch is correct… because the forum displays all its information on a single wp page, its probably confused… simple press will rewrite those titles for you.. or other plugins, such as all in one seo do it properly and provide an api for other plugins…

can you tell your seo plugin to ignore the forum page? or to use the wp api for page titles and get it from sp (a bit harder – but when wp wants the page title, we change it through their api)
