Pretty sure I have access to the the database but I dont have any experience using it.  What do I need to do with the database?

I thought it might b e worth establishing f the data is actually correct.

The forum on your site with topics has a slug of 'btcc-lounge'.

I was hoping you could look in the database at the table xx_sfforums (where xx is your prefix), fimd the forum record and locate the forum_slug column to ensure it is exactly as expected.

I think I'm goin to reinstall it completely.  I just tried viewing it as a guest and its saying I need to be logged in to post even though i'm just trying to view it.  I checked the permissions too.  Confused

You have probably got the 'do not let members post as guest' option ticked which will force known members to log in.

The fact that the slug is correct was just to determine that the data is correct, the urls being created are correct. This still leads to an environmental issue – a plugin or an .htaccess file or some such. Are both your urls in the WP Admin Settings > General the same?
