How to delete users?

Hi folks,

 

how can I delete users in the forum? If someone registered himself out of an error or sth. like that? or how can i delete someone, who isn´t welcome at the board?

hmmm… apart from that i have the german version of the board, i cannot find anything at the user panel…?! it can show me a list of all registered users, but there i have no possibility to delete an user.

 

… hm… help? ;)

No deleting users is not an SP task. It's the WordPress 'users' menu you need.

OK, so you have to delete users in the main WP menu. But can SP (or WP, I guess) proactively ban users? Either by email, user name or IP? Or, if there is not an engineered way, is there an effective hack?

Surely there must be some way to keep unwanted users off the forum.

I think there are plugins that can do this for you.

As to SP however – the easiest way to keep them off of the forum is to place such users in a special user group assigned with the 'No Access' permission set.
You will never stop really determined users. Email, IP, login name etc., are all things easily changed and remember that many people can share the same IP.
