I will check but in the meantime I fixed by restoring the old version.
Upgrade Simple:Press From Version 4.3.1 to 4.3.0 -
(Build 4201 to Build 4131)
Visit Do you have the standard and required (but sometime missed) wp_footer() call in your footer template file?

Hello,
I got the very same problem as above poster after upgrading to version 4.3.0. Been trying to use firebug, but my skills and understanding is lacking, so i am not any wiser now. I am using wordpress 3.0, is the previous version of simple press compatible with that wp version?
If yes, how do i downgrade my forum so my readers can get a functioning environment?

You state version 4.3.0. ? Ate you sure about that?
If this was actually 4.3.1 then the solution is most probably simply a fix to an incomplete theme. If this is 4.3.0 then we would need some more information to work out what the problem might be.
But no – as it clearly states on the download page, 4.3 needs WP 3.0 and 4.2 needs WP 2.9
