I was wondering if there was a way to make the number of replys on a forums topic start at 0 instead of 1?

I have blog linking on and i have total comments then the number, but it starts at 1, is there a way to start it at 0?

Well yes by editing the code. But can you describe and explain your problem in some detail?

I use your forums for comments on blogs, Now i have the link in blogs to the forum, but it counts the main post as 1. http://www.nhlsources.com you can see how i have it linked, what i would like to do, is have the post count start at 0 instead of 1.

Ok i think i am figuring it out but now i have this to ask

<a href="<?php sf_last_topic_post_link($blogpostid, $linktext); ?>"><?php sf_comments_number($no_comment="0 Comments", $one_comment="1 Comment", $many_comment="% Comments", $blogcomments=false); ?></a>

What is there templete tag to link to the topic from the blog, obviously my code is wrong but instead of <?php sf_last_topic_post_link($blogpostid, $linktext);  what code would i put for ahref to auto detect the correct topic to correspond the the blog.

I do not really understand (sorry). What is the problem with using the sf_last_topic_post_link() tag?

If you just wanted to write your own code then you can use this template tag as a model.

I reall would like to place the code where i want. But i seem to be haveing an issue trying to link it from my blog the the forum topic it created.

That code will not work for some reason.

Can you help me by giving me the code that would work to put in my single.php that would link my blog to the forum topic it created?

Ok, if you could please take a look here http://nhlsources.com/2010/09/…..ing-staff/

You will see at the bottom where it says 0 comments, i have put this code

<a href="<?php sf_last_topic_post_link($blogpostid, $linktext); ?>"><?php sf_comments_number($no_comment="0 Comments", $one_comment="1 Comment", $many_comment="% Comments", $blogcomments=false); ?></a>

In my comments.php now the 0 comments does not link to the forum post for this topic. So i was wondering if you could help me out and give me the correct code i should use.

Please.
