Offlinetry pasteing that url directly into your browser address bar to see if it brings up the WP registration form. It looks good to me…
pasting that url directly into my browser doesn't work either.
Before the upgrade, I had my forum configured as this : the policy documents were displayed before registration. Now, there's only a white screen when they hit "register".
I use this registration url : http://www.babbelhoek.be/wordp…..view=forum
Without the 2 last words "view=forum", I see a registration screen.
Update : when I uncheck the box "display registration policy", the registration works.
Strange…
yes. we are currently researching this again. the fix helped some but not everyone that is having this problem… and its related to the policy stuff… but most not affected… more to come – maybe a patch today for testing if all goes well… this is very tough one since there is no known common thread of why its happens for some…
I upgraded today from 4.23 to 4.33 and I get this error now.
Warning: strtr() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home2/daily/public_html/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 949
well, simple-press does NOT use that function… its string translate certain characters command… tinymce uses it once but the forum itself does not…
so when you upgraded you also were on wp 3.0.x right?
I would try disabling all your other plugins and seeing if it goes away… then reenable one by one until it breaks…
thats not that unusual if there are js changes… some browsers are more overly greedy with caching than others too… not a bad idea to always clear the cache before doing any wp type upgrade…

Clearing the cache has not helped… I am getting the Upgrade bar on my page and it will go and go and go until I close the browser. No change. Any more ideas?
If it is persistant then, sadly, it is most usually a problem where another plugin is causing some script conflict. Might even be the theme as many of these do some really nasty things with javascript that breaks all of the rules.
Try switching to the WP theme just for the upgrade. If that's not it, you could try deactivating plugins.
if you look at our FAQ there is a lkink to try and locate a script conflict which might point to a specific plugin.
We are constantly trying to work around these sort of problems and the upgrade code today is so light and simple but still we sometimes come up agauns the wall of bad script loading.
