1 – Did anything else change? Theme… plugins etc?
2 – Is the forum content missing when logged in AND when logged out?
3 – Is the forum admin also not visible?

let's try a few things first that have been added to support some themes that are a little non-standard.
Go to the forum admin and select the WP Integration panel. There are two options on that panel – "Limit Forum Display to Within WP Loop" and "Allow Multiple Loading of Forum Content" which should be turned off.
Try turning them on and off in different combinations and then refreshing the forum page to see if it comes back. If not then leave both settings off after experimenting.

You're welcome. Something out of the ordinary in your theme then…
