Avatars Won't Upload

Hello there,

I have a forum located on my website, here.

My problem is that I can't upload avatars. If you click the "browse" button under "upload an avatar," nothing happens. I even tried enabling remote avatars, and although the image is visible on the profile page, it does not appear as the avatar.

I enabled the forum permission forum>>profiles>>avatars>>enable avatar uploading.

Thank you for you help. Smile

Nice looking site…
99% of the time we see this it is a conflict with either another plugin or the WP theme being used. In these cases the solution is a process of elimination

This wiki article: http://wiki.simple-press.com/i…..conflicts/ tries to explain that. But in particular look at the 'Finding Your Errors' section and run through that simple process and report back.

Hi , I believe this is a problem with artisteer generated themes, I to am having this issue, with all plugins disabled it still wont work. The older versions of SPF worked ok with artisteer generated themes, it just seems that this version and the one previous conflict with artisteer code somewhere ?

Switching to another theme or the default one it works fine, so it must be related to any artisteer themes.

in the past, I believe artisteer has implicitly loaded jquery or other js without using the wp api…  could be remembering incorrectly, but would check how it loads jquery…

If you are using 4.3.0 or 4.3.1 then it might be worth trying this small code change which might be the problem:

This is the last post on that page of the thread…

I'm sorry for the delayed response. I uploaded the 4.3.2 update today and it worked like a charm. Thanks so much!
