How do I get my navigation to show the group title?

Hi,

 

When I select a forum from one of my groups in the top navigation/site map box the navogation leaves out the group title.

For example on my forum (above) when I select – 'Just Starting' the navigation displays:

Forum: Just Starting

I would like it to read:

Forums: Action Reseach: Just Starting i.e I want the navigation to display the group as well as the forum.

Interesting… we have never been asked for that before. So not built in option but you are, of course, free to edit the core code…
And I will open a ticket so that at least adding this can be discussed.

Thanks for the speedy reply.

Hmm, not sure i want to start messing with the core code! So will probably just live with it, although I have noticed that the navigation on this forum does seem to display the group title. I'm guessing you guys know what you're doing with the core code….! It wouldn't be a skin choice option would it?

No, we dont display the group title in the breadcrumbs here…  its as Andy said, not currenlty done, but ticket open for consideration in future version…  are you sure you mean group?  the group name/title of this post is 'Simple Press 4.1.0 to 4.1.3 Support'

do you mean in tree format? just check the display as tree option on forum – options – global display settings… in the breadcrumbs section…
