thanksy WP js files are hosted remotely on CDN. Could that be why the TinyMCE icons do not show up?

Not sure the question exactly either, but I do have as much js (jquery and tons of jquery related) hosted on CDN and I haven't noticed any issues with anything Simple:Press.

BUT….   if you don't properly use wp_enqueue_script and related functions to deregister and register everything you are sure to have problem.  For example if you pasted a link to jquery in your <head> and then WordPress or any number of plugins calls up jquery, you will be running two instances and all sorts of exciting things can happen.

Now this might be way out there, but TinyMCE in Wordpress admin requires jquery to run in no conflict.  So this has me wondering if jquery running normally could affect TinyMCE in the frontend?

LOL  a answer and a question.  I'm a big help.

you would be surprised at the number of themes and plugins that dont enqueue js or css… and the number of themes that dont use the header and footer calls…
