Looks to me that you have not downloaded any skins other than the default that was in the zip. It states quite clearly on the download page that we no longer package all of the skins and icons but they are all there for download.

I downloaded two more skins and tried to change. I don't know why but it is not working. On my Style Settings page I can see that skins, "salmon-river" and "detroit".
So let's check… you did put them in the right place yes?
styles/skins/salmon-river/…skin files…
styles/skinds/detroit/…skin files…
And unzipped them of course.
Sorry to be basic but it does happen!

Yes. I did just that. After I couldn't make it work I decided to ask for advice here because it is something strange, right?

when I load up your site, I get many numerous errors…. mostly with js… in fact, none of the forum js or css is being loaded… I suspect a serious conflict here…
quick and dirty thing would be to try loading our js in the header instead of footer… see forum – wp integration – page and permalink for the option… see if that helps…
if not, would suggest solving all the js conflicts…

Finally I've found what was wrong. On my WP I've had plugin JavaScript to Footer. After I deactivated it skins started to work.

Only one more question. Do you have somewere the list of incompatible plugins with Simple Press?
It would be nice if there was the list.
