Im skinning a new SP setup, and i have run into a problem – removing the text and border, that appears when clicking search forums. How does one remove the text “Searh Forums” and the border around the searchfield? Ive added my won boarder via CSS, but at moment its double bordered … see example: http://www.wakestylemovement.com/forum

you will have to edit the skin and remove the border… dont think you can remove the text though… think it will look fine…

so in your wp theme or spf skin

#sforum #sfsearchform fieldset {border:none !important;}

should work… might want to read up on creating your own skin if you want to modify spf skin… see your online help in your spf admin

with firebug, all css is easy to see and what if… wink

and you actually should be able to remove the text by adding

#sforum #sfsearchform fieldset legend {display:none !important;}

Anyhow, im when were done with the skin, icon sets etc. we can zip it down and send you guys a copy if you want one … its alpha based, so it should fit down on moste templates/colorschemes ^^

you can style the legend text and appearance however you want…  we have tended to err on the side of putting styling classes/ids on most elements, even if we dont style them in the default skins…

sure, we are always looking for user submitted skins… use the contact form and we can upload it to our user contributed skins page…
