I've attached all three files to this post.  Hopefully you can take a look at it when you get a chance so maybe you can tell me what I'm doing wrong?  I'm very much willing to learn.

Thank you again!

nothing in that forum.php that should be outputting a sidebar, so if its selected as the page template for the forum, something else is a foot…

or course, I dont understand that template either… why two calls to the_content()???  you appear to be dumping page content twice…

I pasted a code from the wiki tutorial into my style.css hoping that would help.  But It seems as if it did nothing at all.  (that's why you see it calling for content twice).

So what you're saying is, that it may be calling from another php file?  Not page.php?

page.php is only called if you have the page set to use the default page template…  otherwise it calls the template you have selected and page.php is not called…

see image to make sure you have selected the right page template…

Perfect!  Now the sidebar is successfully removed and all I need to change is the width of the forum tables.

I did the steps in the tutorial.  Any idea why it's not stretched out fully?  or why there's a weird footer at the very bottom of the page?

Yes, you are awesome!  After spending all night fiddling with code, I acomplished the goal I was trying to acheive :)

Quick question, do you guys have plugins for adsense?  Monetizing and such?

Hello,

I am trying to remove the sidebar in on my wordpress forums page, i have followed the Wiki and nothing changed, I have also tried again from teh instruction in this thread and still had no joy.

my website is http://baddice.co.uk and the forums can be found at http://baddice.co.uk/forums

I created a template forums.php and the #content bit that i needed to find was in my style.css not .php

I am using the flexibility theme

Any help with this would be very much apreciated

Ben.
