structure theme: split forum homepage into 2 columns

Hi,

I love the blue structure theme. I modified the css colors a bit to match my site even better.

I was wondering if there was a way to split the forum homepage tables into 2 columns so that I can have 3 forum sections on one side and 3 on the other instead of stacked up in single rows.

i know this might take some work, maybe too much work, but I'm just curious to know if this is possible.

I dont need multiple columns on any page besides the forum homepage. I'm not using any sidebars for my forum and the width of my site is 960px so there is plenty of room.

There is always a way but I wouldn't want to tackle it! i think it is safest to suggest no to this one – sorry.
