I pasted the URL into the "paths to be skipped" box. Not sure that's right.

Hmmm. Did you try it again?

I opened a new tab in Firefox, entered the URL I gave you and it took me directly to the page.

assume the url is still

http://winterbluescoach.com/li…..box-forum/

but no, redirects to the main page… on your redirection plugin, some maintain a history or cache of redirections – might need to clear that…

No apparent cache to clear.

This page and permalink were created AFTER I installed Permalink Redirect, so there was no prior permalink.

I just clicked on the URL you reposted and it took me directly to the forum page.

The content on this page is protected by WishList Member from non-members. Perhaps that's the bugaboo…?

Help me here. "Start with my page.php?"

Please explain what that means and how to do it. I used the exact content from the WP Custom Page Wiki.

Confused

yes, I can see and that wont work… for your theme… its meant as a guide and cant possible cover what to do with every theme…

so lets start over…

delete your forum.php… copy page.php and make the new file forum.php… but put the template page stuff at the top…

try viewing your site… it should be as if you never created a custom page template… forum content but with sidebar…

now, go into your forum.php and remove the sidebar loading… now view the forum page… should be forum with no sidebar, but more than likely the forum isnt using the full width where the sidebar used to be…

so let me know when you get here…

OK. I understand deleting forum.php. Forgive my ignorance, but I can't find page.php. I can find all the other.php templates on Thesis. I'm guessing I need to look in the themes root folder???

Don't understand "put the tempalte page stuff at the top…"

now, go into your forum.php and remove the sidebar loading…

Don't understand remove the sidebar loading. Apologies.
