This is a question with the
answer; it might help someone in the same situation as it took some searching
to find the solution (not much, but like 30 min):

I had lightbox plus
installed in WP.

Installed Simple press
which comes with Highslide.

The problem:

Now when posting an image
in the forum, once clicked I get TWO zoom boxes opened.

I only need one and I do not want to
use Highslide, since lightbox works everywhere including the forum.
And disabling Use Image enlargement
did not did not help (i discovered later that it did not WORK).

Solution:

Install the patch found here in the forum in patches to
correct number 2, then disable Use image enlargement that now works. And this
takes care of 1.
