Can't reassign post to a different user

Hi -

I have added the plugin that allows an admin to create a post and assign it to another user. This seems to work OK when it's chosen at the time of posting - the option to pick out a user name works nicely.

However, if the post is already made, there does not appear to be a way to reassign it to another user. There is a button that says "Open the forum toolset" and when I click on it there are many options available including Reassign this Post, however this little palette is non-functional. When I click on any of the buttons nothing happens. I tried this in both Firefox and Chrome, so the toolset appears to be broken on my site (could there be a conflict, or is the toolset buggy, or??).

Your help will be appreciated.

Eric

Just briefly looking at your page, one of the only popups I can load is a profile from the stats section, and it appears underneath the forum page. The z-index can be changed for ui-dialog that will help popups show above the forum, but I'm not convinced that this is the problem..

I'm pretty sure this is a Javascript conflict of some type, and I can see a few lines in the inspector I'm unsure about, so will have to wait for clarification..

First thing to try really is reverting to a default WordPress theme, just in case anything in your theme is causing trouble, and if that doesn't resolve anything, you might have to try disabling any plugins you have running alongside SimplePress to see if anything changes.

And I take it you are referring to the 'Post As' plugin provided by SimplePress, right?

the issue is likely that your theme is violating wp standards and loading its own custom version of jquery ui instead of using the one that comes with wp...

<script type='text/javascript' src='http://architectsmarketing.com/wp-content/themes/optimizePressTheme/lib/js/jquery/jquery-ui-1.10.3.custom.min.js?ver=2.2.1.1'></script>

Ike's test would help confirm that...
