Hi All,

I've been watching this thread closely and sure enough there's an issue with the Mentions plugin. Just like gorky5 has indicated, when Mentions is disabled, the Editor TinyMCE Rich Text plugin works. When Mentions is enabled, the Editor TinyMCE Rich Text plugin doesn't work and also doesn't allow me to respond to PM's.

I have disabled the Mentions plugin until further notice.

Simple fix. File to change is in the SP plugins folder - default wp-content/forum-plugins. Find the 'mentions' folder and open it and find the file sp-mentions-plugin.php.

Scroll down to line 141 and find the lone of code:

$plugins['mention'] = SPMENTIONSSCRIPT.'mention/plugin.min.js';

That needs changing to:

$plugins['mention'] = SPMENTIONSSCRIPT.'mention/plugin.js';

And then save the file. I need to talk to Steve about his intent here and why the 'min' version of the script is missing. My guess is he will put out an official update to this tonight  - Calfornia time.

Thanks for the update. I just applied it and @mentions and TinyMCE seem to be working together again.

However, there does seem to be a new problem with Mentions. When I start typing a name, it displays the autocomplete suggestions and I click on the name to add it to the message. So far so good. But it adds the name without the @ symbol before it. You have to manually put the symbol in for it to be a link (and presumably for the person to get the notification).

To follow this up, even with the @ symbol added manually, users aren't getting notifications.

I'll pass this along to Mr Papa to look into... I can replicate. This uses a third party tinyMCE tool as well so I am wondering if that needs more of an update than it has had. This move to TinyMCE 4 has been a bit of a nightmare.

Being investigated...
