Hey,

I can't see your attachment, can you please add again?

Also just in case, you should have two boxes, 'Select From Members' and 'Select From Buddy List'.

The first box requires you to start typing a users name, it should auto-complete the rest and allow you to select them.

As for the second box, if you have nobody in your buddy list, you won't have anyone in this box.

Hope this helps, if not, will take a look when we can see the attachment.

OK I see.

This is most likely being cause by a JavaScript conflict. You would need to take a look in your console when you run the private messaging page and try to add a member.

See if any errors are thrown up.

You might start here: https://simple-press.com/docum.....-conflict/ and see if this applies.

The error you are seeing is effectively stopping all succeeding jQuery scripts from running so we need to see where it is coming from. If in another script it may tell you in the console...

Have you checked the loading as described in the codex article I linked to above?

By the way - should also ask if this is an up to date version of SP and all SP plugins as well as WP.
