Latest version of Wordpress (4.0), and 5.5.1 of Simple:Press.

I think the problem was outdated SP plugins, thats something I overlooked. Just updated them and it seems fine again now, thanks.

Regarding the error messages, we have:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);

 

What else would be causing the site to display them? All the PHP settings are left on default.

Great news.

If you are seeing warnings and notices on the display then it will be coming from your site php.ini file settings. If you have access to these search for the error block - they are well documented. If no access then I would check with your host. Not only do these messages disrupt the display but they also reveal your server path.
