I did test removing the Screener screencast system from the forum - yes the errors went away but that didn't solve the problem.
Things that changed - upgraded all of the simple press plugins, upgraded WordPress, upgraded Wishlist Member. Upgraded simplepress from 5.4? to 5.5
I have tried deactivating most plugins - without success.

So from the database - the post that works has the following in post_content:
I don't know if this is a Wordpress, Thesis or Carta issue, but it's something I can't figure out.
Problem 1: when I go to the Skin Editor page, this is what I get. A blank page and none of the buttons on the left work.

Problem 2: Every Page and Post - including new ones - look like this. With a strange scrolling divider in the edit screen and almost no buttons in the editor interface. However, all existing Pages and Posts seem to display correctly on the site.

I've been working with Wordpress for a long time now and have never experienced anything like this before.
Problem 3: All the content in the Feature Box has disappeared. I had a full slideshow in the left side and an opt-in box on the right. Within the Widgets area, each is still present and correct, as far as I can tell.
I have the newest versions of Wordpress, Thesis and Carta installed. My browser of choice is Firefox.

The reason you see double skins displayed is because I made an error in the latest version of Carta that forces the double display. I'll be pushing out an update soon to fix it.
I see the fatal errors in Chrome Developer Tools - in the console view. They appear to have been reduced since the last time I checked but your server is still not allowing jQuery to load. See the image below:

upgraded to 5.5.0? But 5.5.0.1 was released on the 12th August...?
Don't forget that if you make any changes to settings or remove any code or plugins that you will need to perform another image upload to test with just in case -although I do see that the database storage seems to confirm that the quotes were correct on saving... But that brings me back to the belief that this is a third party filter of some kind.
The ONLY difference I can see between yours and mine is that you appear to have your default class set to image 'top' and I have mine set to image 'left'. I really don't think this can have any bearing and certainly I am totally unable to replicate any problem.
I will ask colleagues of they have any ideas of anything you might try. Meanwhile - what Wp theme do you use and what WP plugins do you have active?

I see the only plugin you have in common with the first poster is 'Google Analytics for WordPress'. I am sure this is just a coincidence but out of interest - is this the plugin from Yoast?

Wow - that's it. I just installed the Yoast plugin and it immediately started to happen to my test image attachments. Gosh - I am surprised.

Yep, turning that off solved it. I'm hoping that doesn't disable the Google ecommerce tracking.
