Support Forum

So far I really love this release.  I do have a few questions though and I’m not sure if these are bugs or if it’s just the way this feature is set up to work.  In the forum options I have “Append Topic Posts to Blog Post Comments” selected. But with this selected when I choose to link a blog post to the forum what’s happening is the blog post also becomes the first blog comment.  I would prefer for the blog post to not be repeated as the first blog comment because it’s just duplicating the blog post right above it and it looks a little strange.  Is this a bug or is this how it is supposed to work when “Append Topic Posts to Blog Post Comments” is selected?

Also, is this supposed to work in the opposite direction, when someone posts a comment to the linked blog post should the comment be posted as a reply to the linked blog post in the forum?  If it’s supposed to work like that it doesn’t seem to be working for me.  It posts a forum reply to the blog comments just fine but it doesn’t post a blog comment to the forum as a reply.  I would love for it to be able to work in both directions if that’s possible. (opps… I edited this I had my question reversed…)

Thanks for your answers… Well, I hope that this is able to survive into future releases because its a really cool feature.  But I guess if it ends up not being possible then there's not much that can be done.
