Sorry this is taking a while but it realy is an odd one. Normally, for example, if it is a standard 404 – page not found error then we can see in the source that at the very least the forum header code is loaded. In your case there is no sign that the forum exists at all.

Having an older and then removed version should have no effect if it was completely removed.

Let's try and eliminate something else then. Would you be willing – at an opportune moment – to switch your theme to the WP default – test it there and then, of course, quickly switch back? if it doesnot show up in the WP default then at least we can discount theme problems…

if you wanted to set us up a temp wp admin account with spf admin capabilities (forum – admin – manage admins) we could probably debug this a bit easier… understand if thats not doable…  if it is, pm us the account details…

I have fixed it for you. well, at least got it working. there is a compatibility problem with the javascript in footer plugin. SPF (and others) dont work with that plugin. I have disabled it and the forum is running now. your call if thats the end solution.

I would like to use the plugin as if you run yslow for page performance it tells you to put javascript in the footer.

Weird I disabled all the plugins at once and tried it and it still didn't work..  Maybe it was cached page.

Which version of WP are you using? If the latest (2.8.x) then this plugin becomes redundant anyway as WP has that capability built in.

Also worth noting that it is not always possible to put all javascript in the footer…

I am using version 2.7 at the moment and will upgrade to 2.8 so then I will not need the javascript footer.  Thanks for your help guys.  There should be an option to login by the way in the post reply box.  I hate having to scroll back up to the top of the page it login.  Someitimes I forget and have my reply already to typed…be nice to have th option to just login right in the reply area when you post.
