Do not work search button in the forum.

When I try find some word it always redirects me to the main page.

Why it can be?

4.0.4 was released back in the spring. Has it never worked? Or has it stopped working more recently?

Yes. It has worked, but it stopped to work at one moment.

I do not know why.

And also google stopped indexing this forum.

When something works and then stops working the question has to be 'what has been changed'? Plugin updates? new plugins? Has to be something…

This might be related to what I suspect was a change to WP at some stage – probably 2.8.4 or 5. I believe they may have changed the name of their search query variables and it is clashing with ours. We have a code fix that can be applied to 4.1.2 and a permanent fix in the forthcoming 4.2 but that wont help with an older 4.0.4 system.

So – have you upgraded your WP system?

No, I have not upgraded Wordpress.

I have 2.8.4 version at the start.

I have tried to disable these plugins but it does not help.
